As per usual the remoting components aren't made available with the new version of flash right away. To some degree it was ok in flash cs3 because just like Flex it uses NetConnection. However if you still have to do some as2 / fp 8 work and you are on a mac [rant] and can't stand how poorly flash 8 runs on an intel mac [/rant] then you need some remoting support. The good thing is that the fix is simple. You just have to copy the classes into an as2 class path.
